Richard J. “Rick” Toy, 58, of Callensburg, died unexpectedly of natural causes early Tuesday morning, September 26, 2017, at his residence.

Richard was born in Kittanning on February 13, 1959.

He was the son of the late John and Annabelle Bowser Toy.

He attended Union High School.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, the company of his family, and having a cold Pabst Blue Ribbon with friends.

Rick was employed by Universal Forest Products in Parker.

Surviving is a daughter, Jennifer A. Toy and her fiancé, Colby Lauer, of Emlenton; a grandson, Zachary Raymond of Emlenton; six sisters, Charlotte Brown and her husband, Kevin, Deb Lutz and her husband, Charles, all of St. Petersburg, Darlene Carroll and her husband, Wayne, of Howard, OH, Patty Elder and her husband, Kevin, of Perryville, Tina Barrett and her husband, Bill, of Cabot, AK, and Tracy Clawson and her husband, Jamie, of Emlenton; a son-in-law, Luke Zeman, USAF, Langley Air Force Base, VA, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sgt. USAF Sara Toy, who passed away on February 25, 2017.

Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home Inc., 802 Grove St., St. Petersburg, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27.
