Ricky T AndersonRicky T. Anderson, 57, of Franklin, passed away at his residence following a short illness, on Wednesday, May 17th at 9:57 pm.

Born February 4, 1960, he was the son Joan (Hughes) Anderson and the late Richard “Gus” Anderson.

At the age of 12, he started working as a tire specialist for several different tire companies.

He was also an avid Steelers and Pirates fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR. Hunting is what he enjoyed in his pastime.

Ricky was survived by his mother; a daughter, Gretchen Anderson of Pittsburgh; three sisters, Kim Posey and her husband Sam of Franklin, Debbie Exley of Franklin and Lessie Jasiota and her husband Joe of Franklin. Also surviving are a niece Deneille Exley of Franklin and two nephews, Danny Exley and his wife Heather of Franklin, Caleb Posey and his wife Hiroko of Waymart, PA.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and a son-in-law.

Family and friends of Ricky will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Sunday, May 21st from 2 to 4 pm. Services will be held at 4 pm at the funeral home following visitation with Rev. Larry Williams, pastor of the Faith Baptist Church in Seneca, officiating.

Interment will be at the Franklin Cemetery.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Venango County Humane Society, PO Box 1045, Oil City, PA 16301.
