Rita A. Wurster, 98, of Oil City died June 29, 2017 of natural causes at Snyder Memorial in Marienville.

Born May 15, 1919 in Oil City, PA., she was the daughter of the late Joseph J. Kluck & Agnes C. Schwartzkopf Kluck.

Rita was a member of St. Joseph Church.

She was an accomplished seamstress and was employed by the Kathryn Genevieve Shop for 16 years then employed by Ray L. Way Men’s Shop until her retirement in 1992.

Rita was married on June 4, 1939 to Harold H. Wurster who preceded her in death on August 6, 1995.

She is survived by her grandson Michael Wurster Jr and his wife Celise “Stacie”. And by two great grandchildren, Brittany and Thomas Wurster; A son, Harold M. Wurster Sr. of Jamestown, NY; Her niece and friend, Eunice Gricks. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, John P. Wurster; a daughter Donna M. Cooley; as well as three brothers Leon, Frederick and Joseph and three sisters “Dolly” Gricks, Philippa Croyle and Theresa Lallman.
