Roads in Venango County Closed Due to Downed Utility Lines

VENANGO COUNTY, PA (EYT) – The following state roads in Venango County remain closed to through traffic due downed utility lines caused by Sunday’s high winds:

  • Big Bend Road (Route 3016) from Highlands Road to Rivera Road in Scrubgrass Township.
  • Georgetown Road (Route 3003) from Old Route 8 in Irwin Township to the Mercer County line.

The roadways are expected to reopen later today.

Waterloo Road/Whipperwill Road (Route 3023) from Georgetown Road in Frenchcreek Township to Academy Street in Utica Borough is now reopened.
