Robert C. Raybuck, age 83, of Shippenville, passed away early Tuesday morning, December 23, 2014 at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Butler.

Born February 27, 1931 in Turnip Hole, Clarion County, he was the son of the late John F. and Mary U. Graff Raybuck.

He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He spent 3 years in Japan.

Robert was a self-employed contractor and taught construction and electric at Clarion County Vo-Tech. He was a licensed real estate agent, at one time working as an agent for the real estate division of Burns and Burns.

He is survived by his wife, the former Nina Joanne Sweet, whom he married on June 16, 1955; three sons: David R. Raybuck of Emlenton; Jeffrey D. Raybuck and his wife, Julie, of Sligo and Jarrod D. Raybuck of Shippenville and one daughter, Diane R. Raybuck of Akron, Ohio.

Robert is also survived by three grandchildren: Dustin Sams, Rachel Raybuck and Tori Raybuck; two great grandchildren, Carter and Peyton and two sisters: Thelma Miller and her husband, DuWayne, of Clarion and Doris Trunfio and her husband, Pat, of Annandale, Virginia.

A private family service and burial will be held.

Interment will take place at the Starr Cemetery in Ninevah, Ashland Township, Clarion County.
