Robert P. Colvin, Sr., 81, of Shippenville, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019 at the Clarion Hospital.
He was born on February 24, 1938 in Shippenville; son of the late Paul E. and Cora Rapp Colvin.
Bob served in the United States Navy for 4 years.
He married the former Rasma Galinskis on December 26, 1959, whom survives.
Bob worked as a welder for utilities and was a member of the Carpenters Union #268.
He was also a member of the Edenburg Masonic Lodge #550 of Knox, Clarion County Shrine Club, Zem Zem Shrine Club, and the American Legion Post #66 of Clarion.
Bob is survived by his loving wife; Rasma; his son: Robert Colvin, Jr. and his wife, Nilcia, of Shippenville; his granddaughter: Amy Joy Colvin of Shippenville; and his brother: Thomas Colvin and his wife, Barb, of Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter: Amy Jo Colvin.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Interment will take place in the Wedekind family Cemetery in Pine City.
