Robert W. Grine, II, age 70, of Route 36, Washington Township, passed away unexpectedly at his home on November 26, 2017.

He was born on September 30, 1947, in Pittsburgh, the only child of the late Robert W. Sr., and Margaret (Cummings) Grine, both of whom have preceded him in death

After he graduated from high school, Robert attended Carnegie Tech, now Carnegie-Mellon University, where he majored in architecture.

He then became a self-employed land surveyor and owned his own firm.

He was a member of the Pennsylvania Society of Land Surveyors.

He was married to the former JoAnne DelGreco in 1982 and she survives.

In addition, he is survived by his close friends, Gerald and Brett Wagner, of Tionesta.

He enjoyed the company of his canine companions, golden retrievers and Jack Russell terriers. His most recent Jacks were Rocky and Frosty.

Memorial donations may be made in Robert’s name to the Immaculate Conception School, 720 Liberty Street, Clarion PA 16214.

Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street in Clarion.

Family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday morning at the Immaculate Conception Church, 715 Main Street, Clarion.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday morning at Immaculate Conception Church, with Father Monty Sayers, presiding.

Interment will be in the Mount Collins Cemetery, Tionesta.
