MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (EYT) — The PIAA Sunday announced that it moved the Rocky Grove vs. Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic PIAA Class 2A semifinal game Monday from Slippery Rock University to Neshannock High School just outside of New Castle.

The game will still start at 4 p.m. with the move necessitated by the amount of rain that fell Sunday in Slippery Rock. The field at Neshannock is partially turfed with the infield being a turf field making the chances of the game being played Monday more likely. The PIAA also moved the other semifinal game slated for Slippery Rock in Class 4A between Meadville and Ringgold to Neshannock as well. That game will start at 6:30 p.m.
#PIAABaseball Doubleheader scheduled for Slippery Rock University moved to Neshannock HS, New Castle tomorrow due to weather received today. 2A North Catholic v Rocky Grove at 4pm; 4A Ringgold v Meadville at 6:30pm. See updated brackets: https://t.co/fe4CRuUuwf
