Rocky Grove, Franklin Boys Get Big Road Wins

WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. (EYT) – Behind 24 points from Tyler Davis, visiting Rocky Grove topped West Middlesex 72-63.

Travis Perry, pictured above, added 18 points, 15 rebounds, eight blocked shots and four assists for the Orioles, who led 14-2 after one quarter thanks in part to six points from Conner Curran, who finished with 15.

Davis then took over in the second quarter netting 11 of his 24 in the quarter as the lead moved to 33-19 by halftime.

Jace Barger had 17 points for West Middlesex.

FRANKLIN 60, GROVE CITY 49

GROVE CITY, Pa. – Preston Morgan netted 15 of his game-high 27 points in the fourth quarter to help visiting Franklin pull away from Grove City for a 60-49 win.

The Knights led by four, 38-34, going to the fourth before Morgan netted his 15 tallies thanks in large part to a 9 of 10 performance from the free-throw line in the quarter.

Javan Shouey chipped in nine points for Franklin, who handed Grove City its first Region loss of the season, just the fifth overall loss for the Eagles.

Isaac Thrasher paced Grove City with nine points.
