Roger R. Buser

Roger R. Buser, 80, of Oil City, PA, passed away peacefully with family on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at UPMC Northwest in Seneca.

Born January 20, 1939, in Titusville, PA, he was the son of the late Richard and Eva Rodgers Buser.

Roger graduated from Titusville High School. He had served in the United States Army from 1962-1964 and then served in the United States Army Reserves from 1964 until 1967.

Roger had been employed as a meat cutter and meat manager at multiple grocery stores including A&P, Riverside, BiLo, Thorne’s, and More 4 Less. In his later years, he worked at Stubler Drive-Thru Beverage in Franklin.

Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing, and photography. He was an avid gun collector and a lifetime member of the Pulaski Club.

He is survived by his two daughters, Gina Eisenman and her husband Brian of Oil City, and Stacey Byers and her husband Tom of Tionesta.

Six grandchildren, Nolan Buser, Lauren Lupinacci (Ben Hart), Sydney Kreidler and her husband Jesse, Connor Eisenman (Kiaira Dignard), Will Greathouse and his wife Alyssa, and Amanda Hillard & her husband Colyn. Four great-grandchildren, Colten and Gabe Hillard, Nora Greathouse, and Arlo Kreidler.

Several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Herk Buser and George Buser.

Per Roger’s wishes, there will be no viewing or visitation. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
