RICHLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Rolling road blocks will occur on I-80 this week as part of the Kahle Bridge replacement project in Richland Township.

Beginning, tomorrow, July 31, at 10:00 p.m. through 6:00 a.m., motorists can expect stoppages on I-80 Eastbound at mile marker 47 for beam setting operations. The same stoppages will occur on I-80 Westbound on August 1 during the same timeframe. An additional night may be needed on August 2 to complete this work.

This $3.38 million bridge replacement project is being constructed by Francis J. Palo, Inc., and is expected to be completed November 2018.

Motorists should slow down and use caution in work zones, and obey flaggers and other traffic control devices. Expect congestion and delays in the project area. Fines are doubled for violations in work zones. Drive responsibly for your safety and the safety of the workers.
