Rollover Crash on Bredinsburg Road, Driver Injured

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police say around 9:12 a.m. on October 17, a one-vehicle accident occurred on Bredinsburg Road, 1411 feet west of Black Bear Lane, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

According to police, 35-year-old Mandi L. Nason, of Oil City, was traveling west on Bredinsburg Road and failed to negotiate a left curve at the crest on the wet roadway.

As a result, her 2003 Pontiac Vibe crossed the centerline, crossed the oncoming lane, traveled off the south edge of the road, impacted the ditch embankment, and overturned.

The vehicle came to a rest in an upright position along the south edge of the roadway, facing north.

Nason suffered minor injuries.

Community Ambulance Service transported her to UPMC Northwest for evaluation.

It is unknown if she was using a seat belt.
