Ronald Ennis Sampson, 60, of Sligo, PA, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Ronald was born April 17, 1958 in Winchester, VA, the son of the late Jack Ennis and Helen Gertrude (Watson) Sampson.

He was a graduate of Dubois Area High School.

Ronald was a US Army veteran.

He was employed as a welder at Miller Fabrication Solutions, (formerly, Miller Welding and Machine Co.) in Brookville, PA.

He belonged to Woody’s (Rod Neiswonger) Fantasy Football League.

His hobbies included guns, fishing, golfing, and his service dog, Rebel. Ronald was of the Protestant faith.

He is survived by a brother, Don “Shelly” Sampson of Brookville; a sister, Deeanne “Alberto” Neveras of Ft. Lauderdale; five nieces; Janae “Brandon” Wagner of Brookville, Emily ” Ryan” Keiley of Pittsburgh, Katie Sampson of Virginia, Teresa Sirko of Florida, Tina Neveras of Florida; a nephew, Jonah Sampson of Brookville; and a great niece, Lennon Wagner.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad Street, Summerville, PA.

Interment will take place in the Westview Cemetery, Clover Twp. Jefferson Co. PA.
