R. Turner 1Ronald L. (Crud) Turner, 64, of Titusville , died peacefully at 2:50 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Corry Manor following a short illness.
Mr. Turner was born April 19, 1949 in Titusville a son of the late William Turner and Esther Hough Turner.

He graduated from Titusville High School in 1967 and later from New Castle Business College.

Crud was formerly employed with Hasbrouck Sand and Gravel and J.C. Lee Construction of Petrolia.

He was a member of BPOE Lodge 264 and Operating Engineers Union. Crud was also a social member of LOOM Lodge 64 and VFW Post 5958.

Crud enjoyed golfing and hunting.

Survivors include two daughters, Melanie Campbell and her husband Aaron and Stephanie Roberts and her husband Kevin, all of Titusville; three grandchildren, Bryce Campbell, Beckham Roberts and Parker Roberts; four brothers, Richard Turner and his wife Anne of Titusville, John Turner and his wife Esther of Titusville, Gerald (Jerry) Turner and his former wife Martha of Titusville and William ( Bill) Turner and his wife Sharon of Byers, Colorado; his best friend Rhonda Kalkbrenner of Titusville; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends will be received Tuesday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Leo N. Hennes Funeral Home, Inc., 203 E. Main St., Titusville. BPOE Lodge 264 will conduct a memorial service at 6 p.m. followed by the funeral service with Pastor Philip Peters, officiating. Interment will be in Tubbs Cemetery.
