fink, ronald 001Ronald L. Fink, 65, of 7 Vo-Tech Dr. Oil City, died at 9:35 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2016, at his home following an extended illness.

Born July 26, 1950, in Oil City, Pa., he was the son of Lewis and Fay Brown Fink of Oil City.

Ron was a veteran of the United Sates Air Force serving during the Vietnam War.

Ron had worked for Penn-Central, Conrail and Norfolk Southern Railroad.

He was married on Aug. 20, 1977, to the former Cindy L. Spizzirri and she survives.

Ron was a member of Hasson Heights Community Church, enjoyed collecting trains and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by two children: Ron Fink Jr. and his wife Cyndi, of Oil City; Misty Fink, of Oil City; five grandchildren: Victoria O’Neil, Londyn Fink, Preston Fink, Patience Attleberger and Noah Attleberger; a brother, Dennis Fink and his wife Judy, of Waterford, Pa.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lewis Fink and Mark Fink.

Friends will be received from 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the Hasson Heights Community Church.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jamie Fowler, Presiding.

Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
