HARRISVILLE, Pa. — Daylight and nighttime lane restrictions are planned for Route 8 next week as part of a resurfacing project in Harrisville Borough, Butler County.

The project includes milling, patching, and paving on approximately 4 miles of Route 8 between Route 108 and Route 208.

Motorists can expect congestion and delays in heavy traffic volume periods.

This $1.8 million resurfacing project is being constructed by Shields Paving, Inc., and is expected to be completed in September.

Remember to slow down and use caution in work zones. Obey flaggers and other traffic control devices. Expect congestion and delays in the project area. Fines are doubled for violations in work zones. Drive responsibly for your safety and the safety of the workers.
