Royd. L. “Beaky” Buzard

Royd. L. “Beaky” Buzard, 83, of 123 Lincoln Street, Kane died Tuesday morning, July 4, 2017 at UPMC – Kane.

Born June 16, 1934 in Lawsonham, he was the son of Thomas R. and Lillie M. Thomas Buzard.

Beaky served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, and was an electrician by trade most of his life.

He was a member of the American Legion in Wilcox.

Surviving are two daughters, Noreen (Tim) Fitch of Wilcox and Carol (Bill) Hall of Irmo, S.C.; a sister, Bernice “Buz” Anderson of Kane, with whom he lived; grandchildren Carson and William Hall, Libby Buzard and Caroline and Sean Fitch, and great grandchildren Cecilia and Maxwell Brong.

He was preceded in death, besides his parents, by a son Larry Buzard and a sister, Lois Jean Demier.

A graveside remembrance will be held at 11:00 on Saturday at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Kane, after which his cremated remains will be buried.
