Russell Allen Bishop, age 22, of Knox, passed away Friday morning, May 4, 2018 due to injuries he sustained in an automobile accident.

Born April 4, 1996 in Fallon, Nevada, he was the son of Jay Hunsberger and Karen Russell of Knox.

He graduated from Keystone High School in 2015.

Russell worked for Subway in Knox and Seneca Hardwoods in Cranberry and enjoyed participating in the demolition derby and working on his vehicles.

Survivors include his parents; two brothers: Alfred Bishop of Knox and Erica and John Hunsberger, also of Knox and Megan; two sisters: Alisha Maxwell and her husband, Ryan, of Shippenville and Kiesha Davis and her husband, Devin, of Clarion; maternal grandparents: Charles Russell of Knox and Hazel Russell of St. Petersburg and his maternal grandmother, Joyce Hunsberger of Knox.

Russell is also survived by nine nieces and nephews: Landon, Jessa, Kameron, Leo, Lilyan, Summer, Chloe, Nehemiah and Mila and aunts and uncles: Debbie and Tim Matthews and Melissa and Scott Bell and their families.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John A. Hunsberger and two uncles, Charles Russell, Jr. and Rick Russell.

Friends and family will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 Monday, May 7, 2018 at the William N. Rupert Mortuary, Inc., 430 Mendenhall Avenue, Knox.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2018 in the funeral home with Reverend Ronald Hunsberger officiating.
