Russell Racks Up 228 Yards, Three TDs in Oilers 38-14 Win Over Meadville

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — Oil City’s Cam Russell exploded for 228 yards rushing and three touchdowns in the Oilers 38-14 win over Meadville on Friday night.

Quarterback Holden Stahl completed four of five passes for 108 yards and a passing TD. Wide receiver Dakota Cole caught all four of Stahl’s passes.

Fullback Zac Kiefer carried the ball four times for 42 yards while Stahl rushed for 39 yards on 11 carries and a score. Brayden Crocker added a TD with a 1-yard run in the second quarter.

The Oilers improved to 2-0 on the season while Meadville fell to 1-1.

Oil City will celebrate Senior Night when it hosts Conneaut next Saturday at 7 p.m.
