OIL CITY, Pa. — The Oil City YMCA will be hosting an S.D.I. Open Water Scuba Certification Class from April 19 to May 24.

The class will be held on Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the pool and nearby classroom.

Jim Flinchbaugh will teach the class. Jim has many years of scuba experience. The class is open to anyone ages 12 or older.

The cost to attend the class and receive certification is $375.00. A $50.00 deposit is required to register.

A free trial of the scuba class will be held at the YMCA on April 12 at 7:00 p.m.

The Oil City YMCA hours are Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m, and Sundays 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (through the end of March)
