Sandra Lee Shaffer, 64, of Mount Dora FL, formally of Tionesta PA, died peacefully surrounded by family at 9:15 PM June 6th, 2017 after a battle with Vascular Dementia.

She was taken care of, during the days, while family worked by loving caregivers Lori Wolbert of Tionesta, PA and Marisol Padilla of Mount Dora, FL.

Born on July 24th, 1952 in Oil City PA to Waldo and Mary Haniwalt. Sandra was a Cranberry High School graduate in 1972. On July 4,1975, she married Craig Shaffer who proceeded her in death on May 24th, 2012.

Sandra spent most of her day cooking, canning, gardening and taking care of her friends and family. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, campfires, camping, and sitting on her porch swing.

Sandra enjoyed spending time with Craig and family spotting and counting deer.

Sandra was loved by all and will be greatly remembered as Nana to her six granddaughters who survive. Mariah Moore, Laurianne Shaffer, Morgan Shaffer, Kali Moore, Kiarah White, and Katielynn Shaffer. In addition to her granddaughters, she is also survived by her two loving sons Christopher and wife Betsy Shaffer of Epsyville, PA and Daniel and wife Stephanie Shaffer of Mount Dora, FL. A sister Bonnie and husband Scott Smith of Seneca, PA. A brother Waldo E. Haniwalt, Jr of Franklin, PA. Several nieces & nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her forever loved husband Craig Shaffer, her parents Waldo and Mary Haniwalt, and a grandson Glenn Shaffer.
