MOUNTAIN VIEW, California (EYT) –An app that has mistakenly tagged some people as gorillas has app creator Google apologizing.

An angry man sent a Google executive screenshots of Google’s photos app automatically categorizing a picture of him and a woman as “gorillas.”

The company has apologized and has developed a fix for the problem, which went live on June 29.
