Say What?!: Indian Chef Breaks Guinness Record with Massive Rice and Bean Dish

NAGPUR, India — An Indian chef recently cooked up a 6,614-pound serving of rice and bean dish khichdi set a new Guinness World Record.

On Sunday, Chef Vishnu Manohar cooked the massive dish consisting of 606 pounds of rice, 276 pounds of lentils, 331 pounds of pulses, 793 gallons of water, and 331 pounds of clarified butter to smash the previous 2,023-pound record.
