WEST PALM BEACH, Florida — A Florida man who weighs 551 pounds asked a judge to nullify the rest of his 30-month house arrest sentence because he can’t leave his home anyway.
Unfortunately for Steven Goodman, U.S. District Judge Kenneth Marra didn’t buy his argument.
Goodman has about seven months left of the 30-month sentence Marra gave him for supplying more than one million oxycodones to “pain management” clinics that distributed the pills illegally.
