Yukon, Oklahoma — An Oklahoma man was shocked to discover a nearly 7-foot snake attempted to make its way into his home through a dryer vent.

Wayne Melvin of Yukon, Okla. decided to handle the situation himself, taking apart the dryer to get to the snake, which he released into the creek behind his home.
