NORFOLK, England — A man whose dentures went missing following surgery was shocked when doctors discovered them eight days later still lodged in his throat.

Following the surgery, and the loss of the dentures, the man had complained of difficulty breathing and swallowing.

An X-ray later revealed that his troubles were caused by the missing false teeth, which had become lodged in his throat and were causing swelling and internal blistering.
