AUGUSTA, Me. — Police in Maine said a fugitive sheep was captured by a pair of local farmers after more than a month on the lamb.

The Augusta Police Department said the sheep had been evading capture by the department’s animal control officer for over a month in the Hummingbird Lane neighborhood.
