Say What?!: Florida Man Allegedly Tricked Salesman with Fake Boat to Steal Maserati

BOCA RATON, Florida — A Florida man used the pretense of owning a boat to distract a salesman and steal a $150,000.00 Maserati during a test drive, police said.

The Boca Raton Police Department said Michael McGilvary II, 45, took a 2016 Maserati Gran Turismo for a test drive Feb. 21 at a Fort Lauderdale dealership and he told the salesman he wanted to drive to the Boca Raton Resort & Club to show his girlfriend.
