BOISE, Idaho — An Idaho grandmother was so happy with the way that a state trooper acted when he pulled her over for speeding that she sent a thank-you note.

Trooper Mike Nielson allegedly caught Tana Baumler going almost 95 mph in a 75 mph zone while she was on her way to a wedding. When she was pulled over, Baumler’s husband and two granddaughters were with her.

The grateful granny said that the 4-year-old in the car “wasn’t scared.”

Nielson did end up issuing Baumler a $150 ticket.
