KEALAKEKUA, Hawaii — Guinness World Records officially named a Hawaii woman’s 5+ pound avocado the world’s heaviest.

Pamela Wang was awarded the world record for heaviest avocado after she stumbling upon the enormous green fruit, which weighed in at 5 pounds, 3.6 ounces, while walking in Kealakekua, near Konawaena High School on Nov. 26.
