SENECA, South Carolina — A South Carolina man claims that being hit by lightning is similar to being nuked in a microwave.
Melvin Roberts would know; he’s been hit 10 times.
The Seneca resident says that lightning hits like a “freight train” and it will make you lose “control over your body.”
If Roberts really has been hit 10 times, he would be the world record holder. The Guinness Book of World Records still has Roy Sullivan at the top of its list with seven zaps.
