Search Party to Meet Sunday to Look for Missing Oil City Man

GorecznyOIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – Family members are organizing a search for an Oil City man who went missing last weekend.

Oil City Police say 52-year-old Stephen A. Goreczny went missing after he left his home on October 30 around 7 p.m.

Goreczny’s daughter told exploreVenango.com that her father was seen walking on the bike trail Saturday afternoon and later spotted near Rocko’s Pizza in Oil City.

Goreczny is 5’7″ with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Volunteers are needed for the search scheduled for Sunday, November 8, 2015 at 1 p.m. The search party will meet at the Oil City Marina.
