Search Warrant Leads to Heroin Bust in Oil City

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — An Oil City woman is facing drug charges after a search warrant served on a Bishop Avenue residence on Sunday evening led to the discovery of a significant amount of suspected heroin.

Around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 14, the Oil City Police Department executed a search warrant on a residence at 7 Bishop Avenue. During the course of the search warrant, police located a substantial amount of suspected heroin.

Oil City Police then arrested 37-year-old Heather Morgan, of Oil City.

Morgan is being charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture or deliver, possession of a controlled substance, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
