Seneca Man Accused of DUI, Endangering Welfare of a Child

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — Oil City Police say a Seneca man faces DUI and related charges stemming from a traffic stop that occurred on Regan Drive, in Oil City, Venango County.

According to police. around 2:19 a.m. on July 18, officers conducted a traffic stop on 42-year-old Toby Harris, of Seneca, and he was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol.

Harris also had a young child inside the vehicle with him, police say.

He was arraigned at 6:45 a.m. on July 18 in front of Magisterial District Judge Michael D Snyder and faces the following charges:

  • Endangering Welfare of Children -Parent/Guardian/Other Commits Offense, Misdemeanor 1
  • DUI: Gen Imp/Inc of Driving Safely — 1st Offense
  • Drg Lic Sus/Rev Purs to Sec 3802/1547B1
  • Accident Involv Damage Attended Vehicle/Prop, Misdemeanor 3
  • Periods For Requiring Lighted Lamps

Unable to post $25,000.00 bail, he was lodged in the Venango County Jail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on August 5 in Venango County Central Court.
