CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Police say a Seneca man was arrested for theft from a vehicle in Cranberry Township Wednesday afternoon.

According to police, sometime between 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, and 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 3, an individual broke into a known victim’s truck and stole approximately $10.00 worth of loose change.

Then, around 3:50 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, a known woman called PSP Franklin to report that she believed the individual that was currently in her business was the same individual from another theft previously reported on Thursday, May 3, in which the individual stole four hanging baskets from her porch.

State Troopers arrived at the scene and took the individual, later identified as 21-year-old Alan Lee Brock, of Seneca, into custody without incident. Further questioning revealed Brock had stolen the loose change from the victim and admitted to other crimes.
