CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A 22-year-old Seneca man was flown from the scene of a motorcycle accident in Cranberry Township, Venango County, on Saturday afternoon.

Franklin-based state police said the accident took place around 1:35 p.m. on Hill City Road when 22-year-old Kyle A. Flick, of Seneca, attempted to “do a wheelie” while traveling at a high rate of speed.

Flick lost control of his 2009 Yamaha causing him to be ejected from the motorcycle, police said.

Police said both Flick and the motorcycle traveled approximately 200 feet before coming to a rest.

Flick was flown from the scene to an unspecified hospital.

Police described Flick’s injuries as “moderate”.

Community Ambulance assisted at the scene.
