Seneca Man Held for Court in Drug Death Case

FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — Court documents indicate a Seneca man is being held for court involving a drug death stemming from an incident that occurred in November of 2011.

Prosecuted by District Attorney Shawn White, 24-year-old Jarrod Joseph Goheen, of Seneca, has been bound over for trial involving the November 10, 2011, overdose death of 31-year-old Jesse Allen White, of Oil City.

White overdosed on buprenorphine, also known as subutex, suboxone, according to sources.

After a lengthy investigation, on December 9, 2013, Arresting Officer Swartfager from Franklin-based State Police charged Goheen with the following offenses:

-Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony
-Drug Delivery Resulting In Death, Felony 1

Unable to post $50,000.00 bail, he remains in the Venango County Jail.
