CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A Seneca man is facing drug charges following a probation inspection at a residence located along State Route 257, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

According to court documents, Franklin-based State Police filed criminal charges against 21-year-old Sean Michael Bickel, of Seneca.

According to a criminal complaint, on January 22, Trooper Fetterman, of PSP Franklin, was dispatched to assist state probation at a residence on Route 257 where drug paraphernalia was found during an inspection.

On arrival, Trooper Fetterman discovered a Similac baby formula can containing remnants of a green, leafy substance on the floor. A purple metal pipe with residue and a plastic baggie was also found in the can. And, an odor of burnt cannabis emanated from the can.

Bickel admitted to Trooper Fetterman that the items belonged to him and had been in the red and black gym bag on the floor, the complaint states.

Bickel signed a Consent to Search Form, and his cell phone, a red and black LG-X Charge, was found to contain evidence of selling marijuana, as well as other drug activity, according to the complaint.

All of the items were collected and placed into evidence.

Bickel was arraigned at 2:00 p.m. on February 2 at the office of District Judge Patrick E. Lowrey on the following charges:

– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony
– Criminal Use Of Communication Facility, Felony 3

Unable to post $10,000.00 cash bail, Bickel was lodged at the Venango County Jail.
