Seneca Woman Arrested in Alleged DUI Crash

Police sirenFRANKLIN Pa. (EYT) – Franklin Police say one woman was arrested following a crash on North 13th Street at Coefield Corners in the City of Franklin, Venango County.

Police say they were dispatched to Coefield Corners at 7:43 p.m. on July 1, 2015 for a reported one-vehicle accident.

Police, with assistance of witnesses determined that a 2003 Chevrolet Impala being operated by Penny L. Grove, of Seneca, allegedly struck a concrete barrier island in front of Crosby’s causing severe undercarriage damage to the vehicle.

Grove was allegedly found to be highly impaired from alcohol consumption and was later arrested, according to police.

Police say Grove will be charged with two counts of DUI and a traffic violation.

As of 9:15 a.m., July 3, charges have not yet been filed.
