WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – A Seneca woman escaped injury in a one-vehicle accident on Route 157 in Washington Township, Clarion County earlier today.

According to Marienville-based State Police the accident happened around 8:00 a.m. when 22-year-old Ashlee M. Police say Perillo’s vehicle traveled an additional 39′ in a western direction and struck an embankment which caused the vehicle to overturn.

The vehicle then re-entered the roadway and traveled approximately 90′ in a western direction while overturned and on its roof, according to police.

The vehicle then came to a stop in the westbound travel lane of State Route 157 and was facing a southwestern direction, police say.

Perillo was using a seat belt and was not injured.
