CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — State Police are investigating a case of sexual abuse of children in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

According to Franklin-based State Police, around 9:00 a.m. on Friday, February 2, an unknown suspect sent “sext” messages and a nude photograph of a 4th grader to a known individual in Cranberry Township.

PSP Franklin is currently investigating the communications between the unknown suspect and the individual.
