A winner has been announced in EYT Media Group’s ‘Most Thankful’ contest, sponsored by Dagny Design Group.

Nicole Yeany of Shippenville submitted the following entry:

“I just wanted to say that I am thankful to be able spend Thanksgiving dinner with my mother. She was diagnosed in March with Stage 4 lung cancer which had already spread to her bone by the time They found it. It has since then spread to her liver. A new treatment has shrunk the liver. It is no longer visible on her liver, however, she has developed an inflammation on her brain (a rare side effect from chemo drug) that is causing her to have dementia-like symptoms. It is very hard for me to see and take care of my mother like this but I am thankful everyday that she is still fighting. She is a HUGE steelers fan and in honor of her, I am trying.”

Nicole is the winner of two Steelers tickets, donated by Dagny Design Group of Clarion.
