Shots Fired During Venango Armed Robbery

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – State police are investigating an armed robbery at a bar in Venango Township, Crawford county.

Meadville-based state police said a man with a shotgun robbed Double D Bar around 2:00 a.m.

According to police, the man fired a shot into the ceiling and fled the scene.

Police say the man got away with around $350.

No one was injured in the incident.

Police say the suspect is a thin, light skinned black man, between 5’10″ and 5’11″ tall. He was wearing a black hoodie with an 8-ball and flames on the chest, white shorts, white high-top tennis shoes, and a bandana or ball cap.
