BUTLER COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — According to Butler-based State Police, an altercation between a Slippery Rock woman and a West Sunbury man occurred early Sunday morning.

Policy say during an argument between 37-year-old Carrie Grossman and a 39-year-old man, Grossman physically assaulted the man.

Sources say the victim was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries to his face.

Grossman was charged with simple assault through Magisterial District Judge Lewis Stoughton of Chicora, Pa.
