Gun Stolen from Franklin Residence

Franklin, Pa. (EYT) — According to Franklin-based State Police, a Franklin man reported the burglary of a Smith and Wesson handgun from his residence.

Police say the burglary occurred as an unknown suspect entered the victim’s residence located at 228 River Terrace Lane, Franklin, Pa., sometime between 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on July 4, 2012.

According to police, the suspect entered a bedroom and took a .380 cal. Smith and Wesson handgun and gun case.

The value of the gun and case is approximately $550.77.

The investigation continues.
