Snow-Covered Roadway Causes One-Vehicle Crash in Rockland Township; Oil City Woman Injured

ROCKLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) — According to Franklin-based State Police, a one vehicle accident occurred on US Route 322, west of Helper Road, in Rockland Township, Venango County.

Police say around 10:40 a.m. on February 1, Paige Morton, 26, of Oil City, was driving a Ford F150 truck east on Route 322 when she lost control of it on the snow and ice-covered roadway. The vehicle traveled off the eastbound lane backwards and impacted a ditch.

Morton was transported to UPMC Northwest for injuries of unknown severity.

She was using a seat belt.
