OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — Oil City Library has announced that there will be a free “Song Circle” event every Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the library’s basement meeting room.

Each person takes a turn, and others join in if they can add to the tune.

Old folk songs, new Indie tunes, hippy rock ballads, opera, reggae, merengue, blues, and other genres are welcome.

Both original and cover tunes are welcome.

Song Circle is intended for acoustic artists, but those with small digital keyboards are also welcome.

Donations at the door are welcome. Proceeds benefit the Oil City Library.
