CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — A fundraiser Murder Mystery dinner theater is scheduled for Saturday, February 23, at Ramada by Wyndham in Clarion.

Somebody has some ‘splanin to do when America’s favorite redhead turns up dead!

Has Ricky tired of her attempts to join his show? Is Ethel fed up with her wacky schemes? Or has Fred finally found a way to get rid of his least favorite neighbor?

This special Murder Mystery Dinner, featuring Mystery’s Most Wanted, is a fundraiser event sponsored by Memory Lane’s Forget-Me-Not’s, a team raising money for the Clarion County Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

Organizer Tina Flick became involved in the Clarion County Walk to End Alzheimer’s in 2016.

“Alzheimer’s is very close to my heart because both of my grandmothers have passed from this disease and my mom was diagnosed at the young age of 59,” Flick said. “For these reasons, I knew I had to do something to fight back.”

Flick created team Memory Lane’s Forget-Me-Not’s in honor of the facility wing in which her mother and grandmother resided. Since 2016, Memory Lane’s Forget-Me-Not’s have raised $10,500.00.

“We are always striving to increase our fundraising efforts. In the past, we have had several fundraisers, from selling Daffin’s candy bars to organizing bus trips, to participating in The Strike Out Alzheimer’s baseball game at Union High School. This year we have decided to add a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater to the mix,” Flick said.

The group Flick’s team has hired for the event, Mystery’s Most Wanted, has been performing murder mystery dinner theater in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas for over twenty years.

The event is on Saturday, February 23, 2019, at the Ramada by Wyndham, located at 45 Holiday Inn Road in Clarion. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. The meal will be served at 5:00 p.m.

Tickets are $40.00 per person, with the meal and entertainment provided.

Meal selection must be made at the time of ticket purchase.

Meal options are:

Chicken Gardenia: Pan seared chicken breast with asparagus, roasted red peppers in a garlic butter wine sauce, served with rolls, salad, vegetable, starch, dessert, and beverage (coffee, hot/ iced tea).

Chicken Parmesan over pasta served with rolls, salad, dessert, and beverage (coffee, hot/ iced tea).

Meat Lasagna served with rolls, salad, dessert, and beverage (coffee, hot/ iced tea).
