FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) – Barrow-Civic Theatre will be presenting the spring concert of the Venango Chamber Orchestra on Sunday, April 8, at 3:00 p.m.

The concert is free to the public.

The members of the orchestra, along with conductor John Murcko, are dedicated to offering a live program of symphonic music to the residents of Venango County. It provides an opportunity for talented local musicians to perform in a formal orchestral setting and qualified students are invited to participate as part of their music training experience.

The concert will feature three local high school musicians, including French horn soloist, Greer Wardlaw, from Clarion Area High School. Composers of the music will include George M. Cohan, Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, Dvorak, Tchaikovsky, and western Pennsylvania’s own, Dr. Rex Mitchell.

The Venango Chamber Orchestra invites everyone to come out and enjoy an afternoon of live classical and popular music.
