St. Petersburg Area Barn Fire Ruled Arson

RICHLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Authorities are searching for the person who intentionally set fire to a barn Saturday night in Richland Township.

According to Clarion-based State Police, firefighters were called to the scene of a structure fire on Ritts Farm Road around 7:50 p.m. on Saturday.

Damage to the structure is estimated at $20,000.

No injuries were reported.

Following further investigation, the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal unit determined the fire was arson.

Investigators would not say whether they have any suspects in the case.

St. Petersburg Volunteer Fire Department assisted with the initial investigation.
